Life crossroads, confusing or inspiring?

“You are now at a crossroads. This is your opportunity to make the most important decision you will ever make. Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? Don’t think about who you have been. Who are you now? Who have you decided to become? Make this decision consciously. Make it carefully. Make it powerfully.”
Is your crossroads like this?

Afraid to make a decision or do you feel like this?

This is another way to focus.

I look for these signs to show me my way. Positive reinforcements are easier to navigate in life’s crossroads.

Is that okay?

“You must constantly ask yourself these questions: Who am I around? What are they doing to me? What have they got me reading? What have they got me saying? Where do they have me going? What do they have me thinking? And most important, what do they have me becoming? Then ask yourself the big question: Is that okay? Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.”

Finding your purpose.

Iris on paper 30" x 22" SOLD

The other day I watched Oprah‘s Lifeclass: The Tour with Bishop J.D. and was completely overtaken with emotion and awe. The show opened with the two chatting nothing special until I heard Oprah telling the story about how she had first gone to see this minister. She was not really interested in listening to another minister and another sermon because she had heard it all before. Then she went to hear this remarkable man speak. She felt the energy in the church pulsate. She then turned over the show J.D. and I saw and heard what she experienced. I too had heard enough ministers and enough sermons to say been there. I was at a point in my life that I felt a preacher man could not enlighten me any further about God or Source. Source has a funny way of answering your prayers or questions.

I had struggled with the question about purpose, was what I thought my purpose, right? I keep thinking my purpose should be bigger maybe more noble. I certainly did not think being an artist could be noble enough a purpose. It just had to be wrong, I had to be wrong. As he spoke about purpose I realized each person he showed as an example realized their purpose started as a child. Each one of us from the moment we decide with Source what the purpose of our lives is arrives in the womb with all that is needed for us to thrive in a life we chose to experience. When we are young we definitely know what our purpose is but as in Peter Pan we grow up and the memory dissolves. The memory hidden but if you look at what it was in your childhood that interested you, drew you in and excited you, you then have your purpose. Every one of these people said when I was a child I knew I was going to be… So I thought about myself and the answer was as simple as my question. Is being an artist living my life with purpose? Yes. I can not remember ever wanting anything else. I had interests in other things but I always wanted to paint and create. As long as I am creating I am joyfully happy.

So now I know I am living my life with purpose. Yet than why am I having so many difficulties? Because I kept fighting with the answer being that simple, therefore not believing with my heart center and living with absolute faith I was right. When we live with the heart center wide open we not only are giving to the world but receiving and that takes faith love and staying open to Source or Gods gentle whispers. I think once you fit that piece into the puzzle of your life things will start to open up and grow. Hopefully it is the case for me. Since I have just placed this piece into place I will have to see if I am right or is there more to discover. The knowing my life is on track allows for me to now make the decisions I was afraid to see.

If you can see if you can watch Oprah’s Lifeclass the Tour. As usual she has not disappointed with shows that inspire and open you up to life, a life of joy purpose and an armory to help get through the lessons we must learn. Except what ever you purpose is and go live it. I know I am now.

The past is like a wet quilt.

Isn’t this a fabulous quote for us to be inspired and so motivated. These words hit very close to home when I read them and it is exactly what I have asked myself recently. Times are hard rather sick of hearing that and often when they are we ask ourselves these very questions. It is so easy to drag the past along as if it is a huge wet quilt. Yes at one time it kept you warm but now it is this heavy wet load. Kick the quilt to the side, drop it and move on it is really that simple. Once you do that you can find the answers to the rest of your questions. Happy pondering what it is you need to know about your life. Make it grand.
