This is a Peruvian flower on a plant given to me by a botanist friend. He had given me just a clipping with instructions on how to care for this plant. He said with little care this plant once established would display spectacular blossoms with enticing aroma. I have separated this plant twice and it has moved with me several times but it has never given up and each year it blooms. This year I have two plants that are blooming. The bloom’s scent is magical and not overbearing. It is a flower that lifts you with beauty and aroma. The  blooms only last for 24 hrs and then shrivel and die.  The plant is nothing spectacular with large spiky green leaves but inside the leaves comes forth these buds. Nature does not think why it simply knows it must and maybe we should take a page from this amazing plant. Inside all of us is a blossom and only you know what the blossom will be. Follow your bliss. Know you are always on the right path.
